. The current subscription rate is £50 per annum. At the present time we only accept payment by standing order. An initial payment of £50 is due at the time of joining BSPAR and thereafter on 1st January each year. It is the responsibility of BSPAR members to ensure that payment is made on time. If the correct payment is not received by1st April each year, membership will lapse. Please note BSPAR has no authority to cancel or alter a standing order mandate.
When your Standing Order mandate has been received by the Treasurer, your application for membership requires the approval of the Executive Committee and will be ratified at following (quarterly) Executive committee meeting. Following approval of your application, you will be informed by email and receive your website user name and password (and this is why we need the on line application completed). The logon and password will give you access to the members area of the website. You must update your personal details (in the MY Profiles section on the members site) and especially contact details which are essential for you to receive BSPAR news and circulars about meetings and events.
Applications from health professionals living overseas are welcomed. Associate membership of BSPAR will be granted following approval by the Executive committee. Associate members will not be eligible to vote in elections but will otherwise have the same privileges as ordinary members of the society.
Please fill out the on line application form and in addition send your C.V. to the Treasurer. Following approval of the application by the Executive, a single life time subscription of 100 GBP will be requested. Membership will be granted on receipt of this and the website user name and password will be issued to the email address you have given us on the application form.
